Ideal for Replacing Worn Basin Wastes
1st May 2024I bought this to replace an old flip top basin waste that was always getting stuck. It was easy to fit and seals really nicely. I used a small amount of plumbers mait just to help ensure there were no leaks too. This basin waste is much easier to keep clean and shiny compared to a flip one and has the benefit of being able to remove the top part for cleaning out any hair etc. Very good value for money!

Looks Good, Not the Best to Install
30th April 2024The unit looks decent and generally okay quality but instructions are unclear and seemingly needs to be installed on a bath with a certain wall thickness or it doesn't point down due to alignment of thread. If you look on YouTube there are dozens of other products which overcome this issue with fairly smart solutions. In our case we simply had to get another washer otherwise either the spout was pointing up or the waste pipe on the outside was pointing up. Quite ingenious how such a simple thing was made difficult.
